Coronet will head to Ireland for the Group 1 Juddmonte Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh on July 1st.

John Gosden’s filly won the Ribblesdale Stakes last season and returned to action with a comfortable success in the Middleton Stakes at York.

While Gosden feels the grey is probably better over further than the 10 furlongs of the Pretty Polly, he is keen to get a Group 1 win into her.

“Coronet at the moment is aiming for the Pretty Polly,” said the Clarehaven handler.

“She took the race at York super. She is in good form and I’m very happy with her.

“I think a mile and a half is probably her best trip, but we will have a go at the Pretty Polly to try to win her Group One and then it will be all about something like the Yorkshire Oaks.”
