JOHN Gosden has outlined plans for his two star three-year-old colts, Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs. Gosden believes Golden Horn’s late defection from the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot could have been a “blessing in disguise”.

The Epsom Derby winner was withdrawn just hours before the race as ground conditions were not deemed suitable for him. The Juddmonte International at York on August 19th is the horse’s next target.
