JEZKI is the star name among nine entries for the Istabraq Hurdle at Tipperary on Sunday.

Like the legendary Istabraq himself, Jezki carried the colours of J.P. McManus to Champion Hurdle glory at the Cheltenham Festival in 2014, one of eight top-level victories.

Jessica Harrington's charge returned from a near two-year absence with victory at Navan in January, but suffered defeat on his next start at Gowran and disappointed in the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham and on his most recent appearance at Fairyhouse in April.

Harrington could also saddle her talented mare Forge Meadow.

Jezki is one of three McManus-owned entries for the two-mile Grade 3 along with Gavin Cromwell's Jer's Girl, who won on the flat at Roscommon on Monday, and Plinth from Joseph O'Brien's stable.

Last year's winner Ivan Grozny could defend his crown for Willie Mullins. The champion trainer has also entered Coquin Mans, who is four from four since arriving from France.

Ellmarie Holden's Ex Patriot, the Noel Meade-trained Joey Sasa and Henry de Bromhead's Identity Thief are the other contenders.

Grade 3 honours are also up for grabs in the Joe Mac Novice Hurdle.

Possible runners in this event include Classic Theatre (Henry de Bromhead), Housesofparliament (Joseph O'Brien) and Sayar (Willie Mullins).

The feature flat race on a mixed card is the Group 3 Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes.

Onenightidreamed, trained by Fozzy Stack, could make his first appearance since winning a conditions race at Tipperary in April.

Gordon Lord Byron (Tom Hogan), Silverkode (Joe Murphy), Psychedelic Funk (Ger Lyons) and Rose De Pierre (Dermot Weld) also feature among 22 entries.
