Johannesburg, the sire of Red Jazz, has been one of the most successful American stallions of recent years and already has 57 blacktype winners to his credit. A grandson of Storm Cat, he was the champion two-year-old in both Europe and the USA in 2001, when he won all his seven starts, including the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes, the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes and the Group 1 Prix Morny.
