Numerically, Emma Jackson dominated the entries and the Ballygowan-based rider won both classes to immediately put her mark on the new series. This will culminate over two days at Balmoral Park, with the jumping phase taking place on grass in the Main Arena on the Friday morning.

Dale Roberts judged the dressage phase indoors before horses were assessed by Nicola Manningham-Buller. Heather Coyle then judged them for suitability and potential as they tackled a mixture of coloured poles and rustic fences in the sand arena.
