TREVE remaines unbeaten for the season and on track for an historic third Arc win in October. She won well in the end at Saint-Cloud but it looked for a brief moment as though she thought about putting in full effort. It’s a tough task keeping a filly at the top of her form for three seasons. Remember Montjeu heading imperiously for his second Arc, after cruising away with the King George? He was only fourth in the Arc where he started 4/5 favourite.

You can back last year’s four-length fourth (from stall 20) Kingston Hill at 33/1 - that’s just crazy odds as Roger Varian reports his horse still on target to come back from an early season injury. He’s a solid Group 1 horse who goes well on soft ground and always seems to have been underrated.
