IRELAND finished joint fourth in the three-star Drammen Nations Cup in Norway last Friday on a team total of 16 faults, with France.

The experience of a strong Netherlands team showed when winning on just four faults, with Denmark second on eight faults and Italy third with 12 faults. The Irish team’s highlight was a double clear round from Capt. Brian Cournane and the nine-year-old Irish Sport Horse Javas Keltic Mist, both making their Nations’ Cup debut. Javas Keltic Mist had competed successfully on the Irish national circuit before moving up to international classes.
