THE Tipperary Branch dominated the Irish Pony Club/Connolly’s Red Mills eventing qualifier staged by Area 7 on Saturday at Kilguilkey House outside Mallow where they won three of the four qualifying classes.

First up, two clear jumping rounds helped Annica O’Connor claim the 20-runner Intermediate class with the 11-year-old skewbald mare Scorcher Babe (30.5). Carbery’s Cora Hurley, who was leading after dressage (24), picked up eight show jumping penalties with Castlehaven Diamond Mary who was clear across the country and finished second.
