THE 2020 Irish Breeders’ Classic came to an exciting end on Monday, a day later than originally planned due to bad weather, with Sligo’s Kevin Gallagher and the Irish Sport Horse BP Limitless claiming the feature Irish Breeders’ Classic five and six-year-old title.

The final class to take place on the magnificent Barnadown grass arena, the final is one of Europe’s richest classes with €34,000 on offer. The class, which was the brainchild of Ronan Rothwell in 2012 but had a new committee in place this year, is in its ninth year and Monday was the fourth time the title returned to Greg Broderick’s Ballypatrick Stables.
