COME on ye boys in green!

Following a draw this morning at the RDS, Robert's Splaine's team have been drawn first of eight teams to jump in tomorrow afternoon's Nations Cup at the RDS where the historic Aga Khan trophy is at stake.

No team wants to be drawn first and this is actually the second consecutive year of a poor draw for the Irish team who were drawn second to jump in the 2014 Nations Cup.

The FEI's Brian Mangan and RDS show director Pat Hanly conducted the draw this morning.

Asked did he feel extra weight on his shoulders with that unfortunate draw, Robert Splaine quipped: "At least I can't be blamed for that!"

Tomorrow's Nations Cup event is the 17th qualifier of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup series. The Aga Khan has attracted a field of eight international teams - five of whom are chasing points tomorrow including Ireland, Britain, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

The order for Friday's Aga Khan Nations Cup is as follows:

1. Ireland

2. Switzerland

3. The Netherlands

4. USA

5. Italy

6. Spain

7. Britain

8. Germany

This is the eighth and last leg of the Europe Division 1 League. A total of 10 nations have competed in Europe Division I during the season, and seven teams will qualify for the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Jumping 2015 Final which will take place in Barcelona, Spain, from September 24th - 27th.
