KILKENNY’s Ger O’Neill landed victory in last Saturday’s 1.50m Longines ranking class at the three-star show in Lier, Belgium.

Riding his own and Martin Egan’s nine-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Castlefield Vegas (Cassino x Lux Z), O’ Neill was one of 97 starters and was fastest of the 29 double clears in 28.03 seconds to earn 6,250. Further down the line in sixth place was Denis Lynch and Lukas 1054, clear in 29.82.
