WATERFORD’s Anthony Condon scored a 1.45m victory at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, Spain, on Saturday.

Riding Pat Hales’ home-bred nine-year-old gelding SFS Vincomte, the pair were the fastest of five double clear rounds in the huge class. A winning time of 46.33 seconds earned them the top prize of €6,250, ahead of British runner-up Matt Sampson and Geneve R (0/0 47.95).
