IRELAND’S Roland Tong, riding his own and Sandra Kirkpatrick’s Rybrook Ambience, scored 69.220% to place fifth in the Grand Prix at Saumur CDI3* in France last Friday. The score was a personal best international Grand Prix score for Roland and the 12-year-old Trento B gelding since they started competing as a combination on the big tour in 2015.

Belgian rider Fanny Verliefden and her Waregem Grand Prix winner Indoctro v/d Steenblok scored 72.98% for the win. Jennifer Hoffmann and XXXL Rubinio NRW, representing USA, placed second on 71.00% with Switzerland’s Elena Fernandez scoring 70.50% with Sueno II for third place.
