TIPPERARY’s Denis Lynch scored a three-star win in Lier, Belgium, last Saturday. Riding Iron Horse Farm’s nine-year-old mare International Popcorn, he was the best of 10 double clear rounds in the class which had 45 starters to win €750.

In the runner-up position was Australian rider Jake Hunter, who will be familiar to Irish Horse World readers having spent a number of years with the Duffy family in Knockmore, Co Mayo. He guided the seven-year-old Irish Sport Horse Liscarrow Neptune (Pacino x Cruising) to a clear round in 28.37 seconds. Bred by Hugh Durkin, the grey mare is owned by Everse Horses and Waldman Horses in The Netherlands.
