NORTHERN riders Daniel Coyle and Conor Swail picked up wins at the five-star Pan American Tournament in Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Canada.

Co Down’s Swail picked up Ireland’s first win on Friday in the 1.45m West Jet Cup, beating 90 competitors with Vanessa Mannix’s GK Coco Chanel (Clarimo x Lerano 2). In only their third class together, Swail and the nine-year-old Holstein gelding broke the beam in 39.47 seconds to pick up $8,750.
