Harry Allen wins in Spain

WEXFORD’s Harry Allen won two young horse classes in Oliva, Spain, last weekend. The first came aboard Ballywalter Farm’s six-year-old mare Olina Van De Noordheuvel when they were the fastest of 32 clear rounds to come out on top. Allen then won Thursday’s seven-year-old 1.35m with Voltaire-sired stallion Voltanos. Niall Talbot finished fifth with the British-bred MEC Look at Me, by Luidam, while Joe Sloan’s Irish Sport Horse home-bred WKD Toronto (Tornesch x Carnaval Drum) placed seventh under Egypt’s Sameh El Dahan.
