IN yet another superb weekend for Irish pony riders, Co Mayo’s Ciaran Nallon landed the International Grand Prix in Wierden, The Netherlands, where Ireland filled three of the top four places.

A member if the winning Nations Cup team on Thursday, Nallon rode Kate Wachman’s French-bred 12-year-old stallion Rexter D’or, by the Connemara Pony Dexter Leam Pondi, to one of just three double clears and the fastest of the competition in 35.87 seconds.
