BRITAIN’s Ben Maher continued his phenomenal season at the final of the Longines Global Champions Tour in New York last weekend. The European silver medallist made history when he landed the overall series when winning Saturday evening’s Grand Prix, just hours after helping the London Knights team to win the Global Champions League.

Going into the final round, held on Governers Island with spectacular backdrops of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty, Maher was one point behind Belgium’s Pieter Devos in the standings.
