DARRAGH Kenny was pipped at the post in last Friday evening’s 1.50m jump-off class at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Cannes, France, when the in-form Italian Lorenzo de Luca wowed the crowd to take the lion’s share of the €62,000 and an all-inclusive holiday to Mauritius.

A strong field of 54 started over Uliano Vezzani’s big course, and 12 of those made it through to the jump-off, including Ireland’s Denis Lynch, German superstar Ludger Beerbaum, Sergio Alvarez Moya and Alberto Zorzi.
