KILKENNY young rider jack Ryan (18) scored a hat-trick of wins at the two-star show in Peelbergen (Kronenberg), The Netherlands, last weekend, beginning with the very first class of the show.

Riding Katie Speller’s nine-year-old Granada S, he raced to victory in the huge 96-starter 1.40m two-phase class, breaking the beam in 34.06 seconds. His compatriot Jason Foley (19) finished in second place aboard the 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse Castlefield Cass (Cassidee x Puissance), who is bred and owned by Jim O’Neill. Co Down’s Sophie Dalm slotted into 10th place with her own Remake Lande.
