IRELAND’s pony (under 16) team secured a Nations Cup win at the Future Champions show in Hagen, Germany, last Friday afternoon, while the junior (under 18) team also finished on the podium in second place. Irish riders also filled a host of top places individually.

Gay Marshall’s team won Friday’s pony Nations Cup of a score of eight faults, ahead of France (12) in second and Sweden in third (13). John McEntee was the pathfinder with Sandra Duffy’s Little Smithe and he was clear in the first round before picking up four faults second time out.
