CO Monaghan’s Clem McMahon was back in the winners’ enclosure in Oliva, Spain last week when winning Thursday’s one-star 1.35m class with Heinrich Anhold’s home-bred Call Me Stablelab.

The eight-year-old Calvados Z-sired grey mare sped to victory in a time of 64.02 seconds to win €300. Other good results for McMahon included a fourth place finish in Friday’s 1.45m two-phase competition aboard his own Irish Sport Horse Pacato (Pacino x Cavalier Royale).
