DENIS Lynch won last Friday’s feature 1.55m class at the spectacular five-star Masters of Chantilly in France. A new event on the calendar this season, the show attracted some of the world’s best riders.

Lynch rode the 15-year-old gelding GC Chopin’s Bushi to victory in Friday’s class when he produced one of only two clear rounds in the 11-horse jump-off. Their time of 39.46 seconds was good enough to see off France’s Alexis Deroubaix with Kitona de Muze (40.06) and earn just under €17,000.
