Dutch win for Ciaran Nallon

MAYO’s Ciaran Nallon won Sunday’s two-star 1.40m Small Tour Final in Kronenberg, The Netherlands, aboard Heffron Equine’s X Flow Lightyear 2. Nallon’s was the fastest of 12 double clear rounds to earn the top spot and €550. Alexander Butler finished second in Sunday’s 1.35m two-phase class with Blof S Z. The combination earlier won Thursday’s 1.40m. Eoin McMahon was best of the Irish in the Grand Prix when finishing fourth with Chacon 2. The pair were one of nine clear rounds in the jump-off in a time of 35.34 seconds, just ahead of former Ireland-based American Adrienne Dixon with the Irish Sport Horse Killossery Kaiden (by Lux Z), bred by Frank and Laura Glynn.
