DERRY show jumper Daniel Coyle finished runner-up in last Friday’s five-star 1.45m during week seven of the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida.

The Table A speed class saw a total of 12 clear rounds from the 50 starters and Coyle guided the nine-year-old mare Leilani, owned by Angelstone Farms and Lisa Marie Gauthier, to a quick time of 63.78 seconds, only to be beaten by Brazil’s Eduardo Menezes and H5 Caruschka 2 (0/ 61.90).
