GALWAY man Andrew Bourns finished on the podium for the second week in-a-row when placing second in the three-star $130,000 Split Rock Farm 1.55m Grand Prix in Ohio, which was won by USA’s Andrew Ramsay and Cocq A Doodle.

Riding Bourns Sport Horses’ Irish Sport Horse gelding CHS Inception (Clover Flush x Harlequin du Carel), Bourns stopped the clock in 42.76 seconds, just slower than Ramsey who had the crowd gasping as he turned back to a vertical in the jump-off but broke the beam in 40.57 seconds with the Tolan R-sired mare.
