GALWAY’s Andrew Bourns guided the Irish Sport Horse gelding CHS Inception to a fourth place finish in the three-star $130,000 Hollow Creek Farm Grand Prix at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, USA.

The American-based rider was one of seven from the field of 51 riders who made it through to the timed round. Mounted on his mother Deirdre Bourns’ nine-year-old gelding, he returned in the second round to produce a second clear round, breaking the beam in 44.27 seconds to slot into fourth place.
