I continue to think she’s slightly better over longer distances but she’s going to be tough to beat in any of the top fillies’ races she contests. Runner-up Rizeena (31-pace adjusted 37) was easily out-speeded by the winner but this run suggests she may not need a steep uphill finish to produce her best form. It could be that the soft ground which she encountered here will be enough to stop her getting done for speed, especially off a stronger early pace than she had here. That said she’s still unbeaten in five tries on tracks with steep uphill finishes but has still to score in half a dozen starts on easier tracks.
