A GARRISTOWN hunt meet is to the Fingal Harriers and the Ward Union Staghounds what Athenry is to the Blazers, or Knocklong is to the Scarteens - great hunting country, friendly hunting farmers and always plenty of game.

It was also an opportunity for the Fingal Harriers to dip their toe in the water for a novel way of supporting their hunt - hen parties! It is unlikely that they will challenge Temple Bar but with joint-masters like Brian Beggan and Michael McGrath, it is early days.
