HSI unveils new look logo

HORSE Sport Ireland launched their new look logo and rebrand at the medal reception held to honour the 2019 medal winners and Tokyo-qualified teams at Killashee House Hotel in Naas, Co Kildare, on Thursday afternoon.

Under the rebranding initiative, Horse Sport Ireland has introduced a new logo and colour, while it’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram social media pages, which incorporate Team Ireland Equestrian and attract over 100,000 followers, will all now become known under the one name – Horse Sport Ireland.

Speaking at the official rebrand announcement, HSI CEO Ronan Murphy said: “Our new strategic plan, which was launched last August, focusses on five key strategic areas. Under the pillar, ‘engaging with the equestrian community and stakeholders’, our overall goal is to transform how we engage and the public perception of what we do. One of the first detailed actions we undertook was to develop a refreshed brand for Horse Sport Ireland which is consistent with our new direction.”

In addition, the Horse Sport Ireland website has been given a fresh look under the new rebranding and in the coming months is set for a full redesign with the addition of new features and improved layout.

Ronan Murphy added: “Our corporate visual identity expresses the values and ambitions of our organisation, its business and its characteristics. It provides an organisation with visibility and recognisability.

“It symbolises Horse Sport Ireland for our external stakeholders and contributes to our image and reputation while also helping internal stakeholders and employees identify with the organisation as a whole.

“Our new image challenges those perceptions and instead our new strategic direction is centred on a clear and powerful message of ‘One Team’.”

Murphy thanked the board of HSI and the rebranding working group, singling out Professor Mary Lambkin, and the HSI marketing team of Sophie D’Alton, Leanne O’Sullivan, Alyssa O’Neill and Jenny Kerr.
