AS debate continues to rage over the dramatic incident when an arena steward ran in front of Cian O’Connor and Good Luck during their vital show jumping round at the European championships in Aachen, Horse Sport Ireland confirmed that they are pursuing all angles including an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland.

A HSI spokesman said that a legal dossier was currently being compiled by leading sports solicitor Gary Rice of DAC Beachcroft and that a specialist CAS Counsel, David Casserly, had also been retained.
