I WAS thrilled to be selected as one of six HRI interns for the summer of 2017. Although my interest and previous experience lay in show jumping, I had always been aware that horse racing played a significant role in the Irish economy and this was further established during my four years studying business and economics in Trinity.

As I approach the half-way point of my internship with Tote Ireland, I have already learned how the day-to-day operations of Tote Ireland are conducted and I have been able to immerse myself fully in every aspect of the industry.
