Fairyhouse, December 11th
Everglow (N. Meade)
A reasonable hurdler in England, he has shaped up quite well in three decent beginners’ chases over the last month and his latest display yielded a creditable fourth to Blue Lord last Saturday.
It shouldn’t be long before he is making his mark as a chaser and he will be of interest when his attentions are switched to handicaps.

Ain’t That A Shame
(H. de Bromhead)
He defeated a decent type in Churchstonewarrior to win a maiden hurdle at Thurles last February and returned with an encouraging third to Stattler in a useful beginners’ chase last weekend.
This lightly raced seven-year-old should progress well from here and could progress into a useful novice this winter.
Dundalk, December 15th
Granville Street (J.J. Murphy)
The mile-and-a-half maiden won by White Marlin on Wednesday looked a reasonable contest for this time of year and this Raven’s Pass gelding shaped up well to take third as he progressed from his debut fifth to Indigo Desert earlier in the month.
He looks quite capable of making his mark on the Polytrack if connections keep him on the go through the winter.

Bears Hug (A. Sexton)
A six-furlong maiden winner here in October, he ran creditably on his second start for his current trainer when taking fourth in a rated race won by Annexation on Wednesday evening.
It was only in the last furlong that he gave best having tried to make all the running and a similar effort in the coming weeks could see him add to his tally.
Naas, December 16th
Passing Well (R. Tyner)
Not many got into the maiden hurdle won by Hawai Game on Thursday and this gelding was never able to land a telling blow, but he did catch the eye with some decent late progress in the straight.
He should be all the better for this first run and looks a horse of interest for the coming months.
