Three thoroughbred stallions have been approved for 2014; John Varley’s Elusive Emir (TB), a 10-year-old stallion by Elusive Quality (USA) (TB) out of an Unbridled (USA) (TB) mare; Kieran O’Gorman’s Munther (TB), a five-year-old by Lawman (FR) (TB) out of a dam by Rainbow Quest (USA) (TB) and Peadar Murphy’s Wounderwall (TB), a 12-year-old by Neshad (USA) (TB) out of a dam by Readily (ARG) (TB).

Two Irish Sport Horse stallions passed Stage 1 of the inspections, both of whom were out of Cruising dams. Gabriel Slattery’s Dermish Cruise (ISH) is an eight-year-old by Captain Clover (ISH), while John Carey’s four-year-old Numero Cruise (ISH) is by Numero Uno (KWPN).
