RORY O’Moore’s win in a Grade C Handicap Hurdle at Cork earlier this month was a real family affair, as the horse is owned by my daughter, Debbie, ridden by son John and trained by myself, with my wife Linda, completing the team by looking after the administration side of the business.

My father kept stallions for half-bred and thoroughbred mares but sadly passed away when I was just 13 years old.
