THIS coming week will see me consign foals in my own right, offering a number of lots at Goffs. I will also be represented in a second capacity, as assistant of Carrigbeg Stud, which also has a large consignment for sale over the course of the next two weeks, both at Goffs and Newmarket.

Although growing up on a farm, my family had no direct involvement in horses; we went racing to local tracks such as Tipperary, Clonmel and Limerick. I was bitten by the racing bug from an early age and jumped into any car that was heading to the races, be it of a family member, neighbour or friend.
