THE highlight of the weekend is the Vincent Delaney Memorial Pace for two-year-olds. The race is split into two divisions. The colts’ division is sponsored by American stud farm Hanover Shoe Farms. The fillies’ race is sponsored by another US breeding operation, namely Diamond Creek Farm.
There are races for three-year-olds and four-year-olds as well as for Trotteurs Français. Another highlight is the Always Be Miki Free for All for top-class pacers. The race will see a rematch between Miraculous and Evenwood Sonofagun, this pair dead-heated in the Crock of Gold in North Wales in 2017. The weekend will feature sponsors too numerous to mention and both colts and fillies stakes carry €14,500 prize money on the day with €10,000 to both winners. Space pressure means we concentrate on the fillies and colts two-year-old divisions.
