MICK Mulvany’s thoughts were already turning the first major handicap prize of 2021 after the teak-tough Comfort Line ended his season with a career best display in the PWC Kilkenny Handicap over seven furlongs.

Comfort Line, whose victory saw Ben Coen ride out his 3lb claim, has held his form very well over the course of a 10-race campaign and he produced an admirable effort from the front in this well-contested 70-100 rated affair.
