AFTER the excitement of the Orby Sale, the opening session of the Goffs Sportsman’s Sale returned a respectable level of trade with the day’s activity being headed by a €100,000 daughter of Camelot.

Owing to the expansion of the Sportsman’s to two days this year, comparatives will have to wait until tomorrow but the figures for day one saw 162 of the 205 horses offered change hands for a clearance rate of 79%.
