Yeats’ top lot

The opening day of the sale played host to a record breaking 15 six-figure transactions and foremost among these was a €185,000 son of Yeats who was bought by Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer Martin Brassil. This gelding is an own-brother to Tintangle and a half-brother to the classy Tombstone and he was consigned by Peter Molony’s Rathmore Stud.
