HAVING been in Kentucky for a month now we are all well settled in and with the Derby trail already kicking into gear, we are all becoming more fascinated by the American racing scene. Surprisingly, considering how well represented the Donworth name is here, this is my first time in Lexington. My three cousins Ken, Barry and Richard are all based here and involved in the horse business.

I arrived a few days early and was made feel at home by the American division of the family and the army of Irish based in Lexington working with horses. All the Flying Start team were in town by January 2nd and we were ready to get stuck in. I speak for everyone when I say that the Godolphin team here couldn’t have been any more welcoming.
