THERE is an increase in the number of lots catalogued in this year’s Goresbridge Go For Gold Sale but the final figure of 74 was only achieved after the selection team of Sally Parkyn, Chris Ryan and Clare Ryan, aided by Bridget Speirs and Nicky Roncoroni, had inspected over 300 potential entries.

This 10th running of the prestigious and well-marketed sale, which is presided over by Martin and Mary Frances Donohoe, sees the number of older horses remain static at 10. However, there are four more four-year-olds on offer than in 2018 while 10 more three-year-olds have been catalogued than was the case 12 months ago.
