THE Berlin track of Hoppegarten stages its biggest day of the season tomorrow, with the featured Group 1 Longines Grosser Preis von Berlin backed up by three listed races.

The Grosser Preis is the first of four Group 1 races over the distance of 2,400 metres to be run in Germany during the late summer and autumn, and has attracted an international field, with for the first time this season two British raiders now that travel has become somewhat easier.
