“IT will all sink in one day, maybe when I’m out feeding the mare,” said William Kells, who received the Rolex breeders award from WBFSH patron Princess Benedikte in the main arena on Saturday night. The Cavan farmer and his wife Jean were accompanied by their family on the Geneva trip where William was one of three breeders honoured. Before he received his prize of a Rolex watch for breeding the WBFSH top event horse Mighty Nice, stunning film clips of each breeder at home were shown on the arena’s big screen.

William’s segment featured the rolling Cavan countryside and Mighty Nice’s dam Sarazen, his full-sister Corradorns Miss Ohio and her Creevagh Ferro filly foal which recently topped the Cavan foal sale.
