LATE Group 1 sprint star and Tally-Ho Stud stallion Society Rock (by Rock Of Gibraltar) was represented in the winners' enclosure again when his first-crop son Corinthia Knight ran away with a five-furlong novice event on the polytrack at Kempton on Monday.

The Archie Watson-trained chesnut has won his first two races by a combined margin of 10 and a half lengths. He was bred by Tally-Ho Stud and is a €15,000 graduate of the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale.

The colt is a half-brother to several winners, including 10-time scorer Chiswick Bey (by Elusive City), and his dam, Victoria Lodge (by Grand Lodge), is a half-sister to the Group 2-placed multiple sprint winner Ascot Glory (by Kheleyf).

Corinthia Knight holds an entry in the valuable Weatherbys Super Sprint Stakes at Newbury in July.

Two freshmen had winners in France on Tuesday with first strike going to Kildangan Stud's Epaulette (by Commands).

The grandson of Danehill was represented by Fas Le Fios who made it third time lucky when she won the five-furlong claimer at Maisons-Laffitte. She was bred by Mattock Stud, she is out of Saffa Garden (by King's Best), and her dam is a half-sister to the Group 1-sire Danetime (by Danehill).

Half an hour later, Sedary won the five-furlong maiden at the same venue to give Haras de Bouquetot's Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains (French 2000 Guineas) victor Style Vendome (by Anabaa) his first winner.

The filly is owned by Al Shaqab Racing, she is a €30,000 graduate of the Arqana August Yearling Sale, and her dam, La Marisma (by Sinndar), is a half-sister to the Group 1 star Literato (by Kendor).
