Dalham Hall Stud's mile ace Poet's Voice (by Dubawi) got his third winner when the Mark Johnston-trained Ode To Evening ran away with a six furlong maiden at Ripon. It was a second start for the Darley-bred chesnut, he is a half-brother to a multiple winner, and his dam Ever Love (by Nedawi) was a champion and dual classic heroine in Brazil.

Coolmore Stud's Zoffany (by Dansili) became the first freshman sire of 2015 to get a blacktype scorer when his son Argentero took the Listed Coolmore War Command Rochestown (C&G) Stakes over six furlongs at Naas. The Ger Lyons-trained colt was bred by Maywood Stud, he is a half-brother to a winner and his dam Frabjous (by Pivotal) is a half-sister to the Group 1 winning sprinter May Ball (by Cadeaux Genereux).

Great Page became the first stakes winner for Ballyhane Stud stallion and classic star Roderic O'Connor (by Galileo) when easily winning the Listed Coolmore Stud European Breeders Fund Fillies' Sprint Stakes over six furlongs at Naas. The Richard Hannon-trained bay was bred by Knockaney Stud, she is out of Areeda (by Refuse To Bend) and she is inbred 3x3 to Sadler's Wells (by Northern Dancer). Her grandam Raindancing (by Tirol) is a pattern-placed half-sister to the Group 2 Cherry Hinton Stakes scorer Please Sing (by Royal Applause).
