FRENCH DERBY: Aidan O'Brien leaves six in French Derby

Orderofthegarter looks like being the leading Ballydoyle contender against French 2000 Guineas winner Brametot

Aidan O'Brien has left six in the Qipco Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) at the latest forfeit stage.

Orderofthegarter, Taj Mahal, Wings Of Eagles, Whitecliffsofdover, Homesman and War Decree are all possibles for the Group 1 showpiece at Chantilly on Sunday.

French 2000 Guineas winner Brametot heads an 18-strong list of entries. The colt, trained by Jean-Claude Rouget, is co-owned by Al Shaqab Racing, who are also represented by Al Wukair.

Third in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, Al Wukair is one of three possibles from for trainer Andre Fabre along with Waldgeist and Plumatic.

British hopes rest with the William Haggas-trianed Rivet, who was third in the French 2000 Guineas, and the Godolphin-owned D'Bai, from the Charlie Appleby stable.

Completing the list are Saglawy, Qatar Wave, Go Fast, Markovo, Be My Sheriff and Spotify.

The supplementary stage for the French classic is on Wednesday.
