PERFORMANCE lines and traditional-breds were in equal demand at Dublin with one of the big sales of the week involving the supreme hunter champion Fort Knocks.

Pat Loughlin from Gowran Hunt Horses, who also sold his middleweight hunter Tandys Bridge, had a queue of international customers for the purebred Irish Draught. The champion left for his new home in Holland on Thursday after being sold for a substantial sum, well in excess of the typical price for a supreme champion.
