THE second latest winner of the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Series came at Dundalk last Friday night and it was the John Feane-trained Major Reward, owned by Daniel Lynch and his brother Stephen. The son of Dawn Approach was making his racecourse debut and was backed down from a mammoth 66/1 from the night before.

The first and most obvious question to ask Daniel is did he top up his share of the prize money with a cheeky tipple at a fancy price?
