THERE was a very large entry at The Meadows Equestrian Centre last Saturday for the first of two Flexi Eventing days which have been staged to give riders the opportunity for some competitive action in dressage and show jumping.

Covid-19 protocols were strictly enforced. There were ample hand-washing stations, the toilets were regularly sanitised and parking was marked out in coned segments. The jumping phase, over tracks from 60cms to 1.30m, took place throughout the day in two sand arenas while the flat work phase was held in the big grass arena where it was very much self-contained.
